It must be hard having to talk about the same things every other week, as if they're news... Is LeBron the best to ever do it? Is Curry the best shooter of all time? When Giannis gets a 3point shot, it's over! Is Jokic MVP? Is Curry MVP? Is this LeBron's year? f'ing talk about politics if there's nothing new.

Lebron and Embiid are the top 2 in mpv contention right now. Jokic can’t win while being the 8th seed in the west while lakers are 2nd and sixers 3rd in the whole nba. It’s not only about who scores more, that’s the scoring title. The mpv also involves team record

Jokic is easily the most skilled player in the league next to Lebron. When it comes down to it give them the ball and they’ll always make something happen. One things for sure, he’s a championship caliber player and whether he gets there with Denver or another team time will tell..

Guys going to sleep on steph. If we are a top 5 seed(which were only a game behind), then he should definitely be ahead of lebron(Lebron has ad, which is not fair, steph's second best player, steph has a worse supporting cast than lebron, jokic, and embiid).

    • Aditya Sharma
      Aditya Sharma

@Vinko Zoric Jokic has a better supporting cast that actually supports him . Murray, Millsap, porter jr, Gary Harris, Jamychal Green, Monte Morris, Campazzo. At leas they shoot the three ball. We have draymond and wiseman who are bigs. Wiseman's 3 point percentage seems good because he shoots less cause he is a center. Oubre and Wiggins need to be more consistent and they aren't a second option and I want the warriors to get rid of oubre and bazemore. Inconsistent players waste of our time.

    • Vinko Zoric
      Vinko Zoric

Agree, but don't think Jokic has better supporting cast. Wiseman has been decent, oubre and Wiggins are ok, green has been pk defensively and bazemore/looney are decent bench players. On Denver side, it's more like names on paper. Barton, Harris and Murray are playing pretty bad. MPJ still figuring out where is his place in the team. Green ok, but unpredictable. I only see Morris as consistent bench playwr, but bad at defense... At best, they have similarly bad supporting cast. Not that players are bad, it's just that something is missing, old what. Last year it was Grant for Denver.

    • I'm Alpine
      I'm Alpine

@KingCapricorn115 If you've been watching the last 3 seasons, he's literally one if the best in the league at getting the best out of his teammates. It's how he's lead the team to a top 2-3 spot in the west consistently. That's also what people have been praising him for partially this season. A bunch of former nuggets got paid on other teams cause he made them look better than they actually were (besides Grant. He's just very good in his own.) I agree this season has been rough, but you can't say a center that's averaging 8.5 assists isn't trying to make his teammates look better. They just can't make a shot to save they're lives once their passed to, but despite the team losing major parts and overall just looking bad, he's still producing on every level.

    • KingCapricorn115
      KingCapricorn115

@I'm Alpine MVP's get the best out of their teammates. If they're not producing then they're hurting his case. Same with KD - getting buckets and putting up gaudy stats is only half the battle. You've got get them to play winning ball consistently. He's just not there yet

It’s hard to win when your roster was stripped of multiple key pieces that made them successful last year and replaced them with inexperienced rookies and low impact journeymen, Embiid’s team got MUCH better and LeBron and Luka’s team basically stayed the same so Jokic should get credit for keeping the Nuggets afloat and putting up crazy numbers

Top 5 scorers in the NBA if all of them were trying hard: KD, Lebron, AD, Harden, Jokic. Currys and Dames efficiency drops in the playoffs especially thats the case with Dame. Embiid in playoffs drops his effeciency 43%fg...

      Facts Only

@Siegel Gaming What I really enjoy about you Lakers' fans/Lebron bandwagoners is the irrationality you display. The Nuggets surely didn't have enough firepower and strength left to beat you after two excruciating series against the Jazz and the Clippers, but at the same time the refs did their best to keep Jokić off the floor, meanwhile allowing the Lakers to get away with murder (e.g. Howard should've been ejected and suspended for at least a game or two. We'll see how you'll do in this year's playoffs, without Rondo, McGee, and Howard to hold the anchor on the defensive end of the floor. Objectively speaking, you took a step back when it comes to playoff basketball, and Davis hasn't been looking himself this season. Harell is going to be a liability like he was for the Clippers in the last year's series against the Nuggets, Gasol is already over the hill, Mathews is an even more of a streaky shooter and a less versatile defender than Green was. Not counting the sudden emergence of Horton-Tucker, the only real improvement to this year's Lakers' roster is Dennis Schroder, and he is as inconsistent as they come in the playoffs.

    • Milos Jovicevic
      Milos Jovicevic

@Siegel Gaming We will not lie. LeBron is an old fox, he made a team with many players who played for little money. Rondo and Howard are 2 future HOF players who have agreed to play for just 2 million. The Lakers (Lebron) realistically cheated in one way to get the title. Denver as a small club has to overpay players and for LeBron and Davis the players played for peanuts. LeBron and Davis had much more support for small money. Denver as a small club had to pay washed Millsap 30 million, Mason 14, and the Lakers found a hole in the salary to provide many good role players. Not to mention that the American refs were on the Lakers side. Even that- if Mason hadn't made a disastrous mistake in the second game (as an amateur he left Davis alone) that series would have been even more competitive in 6-7 games. Denver had 2x 7 games before the Lakers. So tired they played against Lebron + 3 future HOF players + refs. The Refs even invented offensive fouls for Jokic 4 times. The Lakers had to be champions. Davis as American player has much more respect from refs than Serbian. Lakers was best team but also thay nedeed so many stuff to win against the tired Denver😉

Lebron is the undisputed best player. Coming off a finals, there was the shortest offseason ever. That has not stopped him from playing every game, shooting a career best from 3 and defending at an All-defensive level, Lebron broke his own record of consecutive 15/5/5 games to start a season and could become the first player ever to average 25, 8 and 7 on 33 minutes or less. He is the MVP

@vlada Huh? The team is the number 2 ranked defense and he ranks 3rd in the league in fg% allowed as the primary defender.

I think AD is intentionally holding back for Lebron. Last year they sort of split any potential votes and some use AD's performance last year to discredit Bron for his MVP campaign.

Here's the thing you idiot. You said lebron is the mvp cause AD will be out. Well what if lebron loses each game? When they're both healthy neither AD or Lebron can win the MVP.

@Lhype no player can lead the league in all those categories that you listed. The Nuggets have about the same record as the Warriors. They will not be a high seed either.

    • Lhype
      Lhype

He can’t here’s why he’s not leading the league in points rebounds steals blocks assists and he isn’t playing at a crazy level to where if he doesn’t make a top seed he has a chance the reason giannis won last year was because he was the best player on the best team (record wise) Curry is not gonna carry them to the 1st seed

JOKIC! Despite the Nuggets obviously taking a step backward since last year's WCF appearance, he's been great, and deserves to be in the MVP conversation.

@Milos Jovicevic Yes but he didn’t have a real shot at winning. That whole year was between Giannis and Harden winning it. Even Pul George who finished 3rd didn’t have a real shot at winning, that’s why the top 2 vote-getters got all the first place votes. This year, Jokic will likely get first place votes if he keeps it up. Same with Embiid. And then there could be some given to LeBron, Kawhi, Dame, Giannis, KD, Steph, etc.

@Supermariohoops24 Lol. But Jokic is the MVP candidate for the third year in a row. Do some of you watch the NBA at all besides the Lakers, Clippers and 2.3 other clubs? In 2018-2019, Jokic was literally the third best player in the regular season, fourth in the voting for the MVP, and last year he was also the top 5-6 best players in the regular season. Jokic has been the MVP candidate for 3 years in a row.
